Thurstable School serves the communities of Tiptree, Mersea and Tollesbury, as well as the rural areas and villages that surround them.  Founded in the 1950s, the scho

ol has grown strongly, and now teaches more than a thousand students in the main school, and around 200 in the Sixth Form.

Tiptree Preschool Playgroup was established over forty years ago and is a registered charity and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. Registered for Children from age 2 – 5 years. Ofsted Inspected.

The playgroup is split into three sites in Tiptree - Milldene Playgroup, United Reform Church Playgroup and Baynards Playgroup. All three playgroups are under the control of a central committee, consisting of two trustees, three officers, a coordinator and committee members. The Committee meets once a month at their Milldene facility.

Our aim is to help children to develop social and communication skills by listening and responding as part of a group and on an individual basis.
